Your own personal development training as an MDA Instructor is just as important as your Tai Chi student training. You should never forget the need to continually deepen your understanding and teaching skills in order to improve your own standard of Tai Chi skills.
As an Instructor of Master Ding Academy, you have the responsibility to ensure that you not only teach openly to all who are interested in benefiting from traditional Tai Chi Chuan but also aim to train them to a high level of traditional Tai Chi Chuan skills.
To maintain the standard, all MDA instructors must attend attend the Annual Instructors Retreat to receive training from Master Ding or appointed trainers.
For those wishing to accelerate their progress, MDA has organised several Instructors Training weekends in 2017. These courses will help you further polish and improve your understanding and skills in traditional Tai Chi Chuan. All these workshops are closed sessions – open to instructor and advanced level 1 students only. Attendees can expect a significantly higher level of teaching and training intensity and commensurate opportunity for skill development.
As an Instructor, you should take responsibility for our own personal development – teaching and Tai Chi Chuan skills. The better our teaching, the better our students.
Don’t stagnate, practice and grow.
